Basics
As a fledgling wizard I advise you to 1st take the Elders tutorial, this will familiarise you with the basics of the game and the interface, whilst helping you on your way to success. After full completion of the tutorial your level will be around 5 and you will be able to use the chat feature and get to know other players.
Pets
I will talk about pets early on in this guide as it is best to buy one as soon as possible and train it’s talents as you train yours and grow in level. Having a pet will really give you an edge in battles and are a surprise to would be attackers, as they cannot see that you have a pet. If your opponent has a pet then they will attack each other, if your opponent does not have a pet then your pet will do damage to the attacker. Train your pet’s talents high!! When your level and power is higher and you are able to take on the dragons, pets are a must and will make great damage to dragons without being hurt, thus rewarding you with plenty of mana. Buy the pet heart cage to ensure your pets safety when it is out of its cage. If your pet is killed you will have to reanimate it for further gold but it will have kept all of its statistics. Your pet gains an additional skill bonus for each 10 kills! You can also give your pet some super pet power by buying the golden figurine.
Training
Train your wizard well with mana won from battles and earned from meditation and mind. Try to keep the talent levels even. It is tempting when you accumulate a certain amount of mana to just train the lowest mana talent, keeping your talent levels even will make you a tougher opponent in the arena. Tip: Don’t neglect to train your mind and safeguard, training mind is expensive in mana but it pays for itself over time with the continuous amount of mana earned per hour from it.
Attacking Opponents
Attack opponents in the arena using the search function and take a good look at their battle statistics before attacking. You can attack a maximum of 3 times, regeneration of fights occurs each 12 minutes, you can also buy the power up Endurance, which will enable you to battle up to 6 times in a row and regenerates each 5 minutes. If you attack a wizard and earn maximum amount of mana possible from the battle plus exp/fame then although you can attack this wizard again straight away (max amount for attacking any one player is 6 times per day) A tip for you is to attack again after 2 hours has passed, if you leave it too long over 2 hours and that wizard gets attacked and beaten by another opponent within the time past 2 hours then you cannot expect to earn the max mana, fame or exp from attacking this same player. Use this battle strategy if you are looking to earn good amounts of mana and or exp/fame. Tip: Flagging wizards who regularly have good mana to plunder is a good idea, as is using your fight log to help you remember times of battles with certain wizards. To summarise – Battling and winning versus a wizard of the same level will get you 10% of their mana, if they haven’t been attacked and lost in the past 2 hours. Battling a higher level wizard gains you more and gives a chance of winning 2exp. Battling below your level will give you considerably less mana and no chance of getting any exp or fame.
Meditation
Meditate between battles and when you are not online to get the maximum amount of mana possible you can. Whilst meditating your fights will regenerate and some health will be restored, the higher the level you are the more mana will be earned from meditation per hour. Play the games available to you and chat with friends to pass the time whilst you are meditating. Meditating can also give you a % chance of earning exp!! 1 exp is guaranteed to be earned if you meditate for the full 360 minutes, meditating for a lesser time gives you just a % chance of maybe earning 1 exp.
Clans
The Elder will have advised you to make or join a clan to progress in his tutorial. Take a moment to review your clan and clan mates! You will want your clan to consist of wizards who play regularly and are willing to do what it takes to help you win wars! Review your clan regularly and if someone isn’t progressing in level then change them for someone more suitable to your clan’s level. Ideally your clan should be made up of wizards with similar statistics to your own, that grow and train their talents as you do, Clan wars are a team effort and you will only triumph if the members are willing to donate and battle for the cause. Don’t allow a lazy wizard to bask in the glory of your successfully led clan, find a replacement for them.
Shop
Visit the shop often, you’ll find everything you need there to help become a very powerful wizard. Upgrade the elemental rings as you progress in levels. Using Endurance candy and the pet power figurine against the dragons will reward you with lots of mana. Find useful curses to send to hard opponents and helpful gifts to send to your friends. Potions for you and your pet are also in stock. Plus lots more.
Dressing Up
Dressing up your avatar is fun! As your level progresses, different style avatars will become available for you to buy, each have their own special look and have many different style choices of weapons, clothes and accessories. The fantastic color wheel gives you a choice of every color or shade you could ever want, making sure that you never have to wear the same outfit twice!
Achievements
On your avatar page you will find a list of different achievements to complete. Mana stealing – Damage made - Meditation etc. Playing the game regularly will help you reach each level of these goals and each level completed is rewarded with a bonus of gold.
